The role of sintering furnace

Sintering: under the action of high temperature below melting point, the powdery material after pressing and forming is bonded and transferred by particles between the body to eliminate pores, shrink volume and improve strength, and gradually become a process with certain geometric shape and strength.  

Sintering purpose: to transform powdery materials into compact bodies and give the materials special properties.  

A sintering furnace is used for sintering.  Mainly vacuum hot pressing sintering furnace and discharge plasma sintering furnace (SPS).  The powder can be directly sintered into shape.
